so this is my first Digi Dare you challenge. The challenge this time was to use song lyrics either in your title or journaling. I knew right away I needed to do this. Part of scrapbooking is healing. I have been broken up with Daniel for years now, but everyonce in awhile we hear snippets of what the other is doing. I just felt like the story needed to be saved, so that maybe I could share it with Jackie when she comes to me with her first broken heart. Hmmmm....sounds sad, but it reallt isn't. It was great to look through all of this old stuff I'd saved in my cedar chest, to read old letters from when he was in boot camp, and look at the different odds and ends and remember the stories behind them lol. Daniel was a Good time in my life :) 

So I have to admit, I have a huge sweet tooth. Gina was talking about Carrot cake last friday, so I dug trough the change jar and found me some carrot cake money lol. On the way home, I figure I'll stop by krisy kreame and grab a strawberries and cream donut for Tyler. So I drive over there (across the street from the store) I'm like..where the heck is the..did I pass it? and I look over and realize not only am I sitting right next to it, but It's been closed down!!!!!!! WTF!! how do you close down the only Krispy kreame for like 50 miles?! that place was always hoppin. Oh well. my husband probobly called and told them to close down for my good lol. but my carrot cake was good and baby thought so too!
the next great thing that happened was, baby was playing on the floor. shes mobile now and is better at going backwards than forwards. So Im checking my email and look over and shes sooted herself up to her butt underneath the couch lol such a funny girl.
well I gotta go finish my chores before the baby wakes up :)

We took the kids to their first concert last night. we saw CCR at the fair. can you belive theirs only 2 original members left!? hard to believe they've been around for over 40 yrs already. well everything here is by corina neilsen . I am having such a blast rockin her stuff. she comes up with the coolest stuff ! you can find my credits here. the star shapes are from a new set she just added to her store this morning. I just recolored them for my layout. I'll have to post the video when I have time. It was such a fun concert :)

I am sooo excited, as rewards, my self and the two other talented ladies were extended an invitation to join her CT for a month. here is our little angel! She is 10 weeks old here. Mydad and stepmom gave me that cute onesie with the wings before she was born and i've been waiting for her to be able to fit it.

I played photo shoot yesterday...isn't she sweet?! I am loving ym new camera more and more...and having a great subject to photograph doesn't hurt either! she is 18 days old in this picture.
